The Indiana Oil and Gas Association (INOGA) has a rich history of involvement in the exploration and development of hydrocarbons in the State of Indiana. INOGA is an all-volunteer organization formed more than 60 years ago. Participating members include representatives from oil and gas exploration and development companies (operators) as well as companies and individuals working in the following sectors: pipeline, refinery, land acquisition, service, supply, legal, engineering, and geologic services.
In 2021 we awarded $15,000 in scholarships to students who were attending four-year colleges and pursuing degrees in the oil & gas career path. Each year INOGA hosts a golf outing to sponsor these scholarships to encourage students to continue their education in the field of Earth Sciences, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Geology majors.
