The next Indiana Geologists meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 9, 2023. It will be an in-person meeting at George’s Neighborhood Grill.  The speaker this month will be Mark Howell, who is an independent geologist and geophysicist with Xenon Geosciences based in Danville, Indiana. His talk will be “The H/V Seismic Method,” which is a relatively new means of mapping seismic bedrock depths.

As noted in June, Indiana Geologists is no longer providing Zoom for monthly talks. Please correspond with one of the officers for more information.

The informal “icebreaker” portion of the meeting will start at 6:00 p.m., the business meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., and the presentation will begin shortly thereafter.
