The October meeting of the Indiana Geologists is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11, 2023.  It will be an in-person meeting at George’s Neighborhood Grill, 6935 Lake Plaza Drive, Indianapolis, 46220. The informal “icebreaker” portion of the meeting will start at 6:00 p.m., the business meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m., and the presentation will begin shortly thereafter. Our speaker this month will be Henry Loope, who is a Research Glacial Geologist with the Indiana Geological and Water Survey in Bloomington, Indiana. His talk will be “Chronology of Glaciations in Indiana.”
